The Box-and-Whisker plot is all about how the data is spread about the median.

  1. Organized the data set from least to greatest
  2. Then find the median of the entire data set
  3. Circle all the numbers to the left of that median number or median pair. Find this median (1st Quartile)
  4. Circle all the numbers to the righ of the data set median. Find the median of the right data set (3rd Quartile).
  5. Draw the Box-and-Whisker Plot and Label .
